A long, well balanced bull with strong sire appeal, reproductively correct with plenty of beef, bone and tropical skin.
Poll tested 98%PP. Progeny have been exactly that 98% polled with good head and strong topline and an excellent tropical coat. They are born small to medium with no difficulty.
His first sons sold at the 2017 DN. Sale with 9 selling for an average of $8000 to a top of $17,500 for Bryvonlea Royal Skye selling to Wolfang Droughtmasters.
2018 February All Breeds saw another son Bryvonlea Rolex top the sale at $19,000 selling to Terry & Catherine Piggott, Aldinga Droughtmasters.
At the 2018 DN Female Sale, a joined heifer, Bryvonlea Edian sold to Ridgee Didge Droughtmasters to top that section at $8000.
2018 Droughtmaster National Bull Sale 7 Wilfred sons sold to a top of $52,500 (2nd top priced bull) to average $17,785.71.
To (30/09/19) 23 sons have sold at auction to a top of $52,500 to average $12,195.65.
The 9 DN. 2020 Sale bulls had an average EMA of 144 (David Reid Scanning) and sold for an average of $15,388.88.
Semen has been sold overseas and at the Beef 2018 Genetic Auction a package of 5 straws sold for $600 per straw.
To September 2023, Bryvonlea have sold at auction, 46 Wilfred sons, to a top of $52,500 to average $13,728.26 with an average EMA of 139.35.
To March 2024 Females have sold to a top of $9000 twice with 23 unjoined heifers averaging $5196.
At the 2023 February All Breeds Bryvonlea sold the top priced droughtmaster bull for $42,500, Bryvonlea Wallace, he was out of a Skye Wilfred daughter.
